Compassion and justice for Refugees: Here is how you can help.

We are a registered charity and provide income-tax receipts for donations

Action Réfugiés Montreal has depended on generous financial contributions over the last twenty years. We receive core funding from the Anglican Diocese of Montreal as well as The Presbyterian Church in Canada. We receive funds from individuals, local churches, community groups, corporations and foundations.

We receive no government funding

Long-time partners include the Jean Rich Foundation, Deep River Community Church and Saint Columba by-the-Lake Presbyterian Church. Newer partners include the J. W. McConnell Family Foundation, the TD Bank, the George Hogg Family Foundation, the Therese Casgrain Foundation, the Congregation of Notre Dame (Visitation Province) and others.

Thank you for your support

Many community groups support us by holding events such as concerts or panel discussions with donations directed to our work. Please see our Events page to know of upcoming events. Please contact our Executive Director if you would like to discuss organizing an event.

We are sometimes able to accept material donations depending on the needs of recently arrived families. To note, we do not have space to store donations so we assess offers on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to make an offer, please follow this link.

We hold one major fundraiser annually: The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly bike ride, held the first Saturday In October. Please join us!

At this time we do not solicit material goods such as clothing and furniture as we have neither the resources to manage the requests nor the space to store physical goods.

We presented some aspects of our work to students from the Eastern Kentucky University. The professor told us : " Action Réfugiés provided exactly the kind of on the ground perspective and insight, not to mention straight talk, that I was hoping for for the students." ... See MoreSee Less
